Cash Flow From Bonds

When I became an Investment advisor I learned the Bond business before the stock market. Huge investors liked bonds better than stocks and speculating on the trend of interest rates interested me. One guy who I always followed was Bill Gross of Pimco Investors. Bill came out today and said inflation is going to be tame for the near future and there would continue to be great demand for our Treasury Bonds from foreign investors. The market liked this news and reacted well today. For you and I this is good news whether we are purchasing homes or shuffling credit card debt! Oil is coming down in price and I would still buy Valero Energy, VLO, on these dips.
